Uniform

The children at Forge Wood Primary School wear their uniform with pride, and we believe it creates a sense of belonging and unity.

We recognise that the cost of buying a uniform can be a challenge for some families, so our policy outlines both our expectations and options to make it more affordable.

Ordering Uniform

The school offers the full range of uniform, PE Kit and accessories which can be purchased directly online from our uniform supplier Monkhouse Schoolwear. Please click below to be taken to their website. Please note those items with a logo can only be purchased via our supplier

Uniform Ordering

The design board for the uniform can be found below, please note the tracksuit comes in green and not grey as shown below.

Please ensure that all articles of clothing and other items brought to school are clearly marked with the child's name. One way to label uniform is to use name label stickers.

The PTA-Friends of Forgewood have partnered with Stikins to supply name labels for children's clothes and belongings. If you purchase your name labels with Stikins we can receive up to 30% commission! Follow the link below to order. Our school code is 35696

Outer Wear

In winter, children need a warm waterproof school coat. Denim, leather or fur jackets are not considered suitable for school. In summer an anorak, cagoule or similar should be brought to school when the weather is unsettled.

Footwear

Shoes should be suitable for school wear enabling your child to play safely at playtimes. Children should not wear trainers to school.

Winter

Plain style black shoes with no coloured stitching.

Summer

Black shoes or sandals (sling backed shoes are not acceptable).
We would be very grateful if in the wet weather you would provide your children with their school shoes to change into, rather than ask them to wear plimsolls or wellington boots in school.

Pre-loved Uniform

Please do keep an eye on announcements from The Friends Of Forge Wood who regularly host pre-loved uniform sales. Notices will be made via school email and class what's app groups.
