GLF Schools

GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Vision, Values and Aims

Forge Wood Primary School aims to deliver an outstanding education for all our children. Establishing a new school within a new and growing community provides a unique opportunity for stakeholders to influence the Vision and Values of the school as it evolves.

We aim to combine both the old and new, respecting the local history and natural environment of the area whilst being ambitious and modern in our outlook, reflecting the growth and economic opportunities on our doorstep.
