GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

We are "Outstanding" in all categories

Forge Wood Primary School is proud to announce that we have been judged "Outstanding" in all areas in our inspection which took place in June 2019.

In January 2025, we were visited again by Ofsted, although it was an ungraded inspection, we are thrilled that the inspector found the school has successfully maintained the high standards from the previous inspection, where it was judged to be Outstanding.
